Q: How detailed are the leads?
A: Our lead information is very detailed and will give you the information you need to provide a preliminary insurance quote. See a sample auto insurance lead, homeowners insurance lead, and term life insurance lead.

Q: How does the pricing work?
A: We set a minimum bid price per ZIP Code, then you set the maximum amount you want to pay for leads at or above those prices. You can set a price for all locations, or vary the pricing for each ZIP Code. Using the maximum bid you set, our automatic bidding system will bid for leads on your behalf. We will ensure that you get leads for the lowest possible price. Some agents have pricing pre-negotiated through their carrier affiliation. When you register for AgentInsider®, we will use your carrier affiliation and your Carrier Code to automatically set up your account with your pre-negotiated pricing. If you aren’t sure if your company has pre-negotiated the lead prices for you, please call us at 1-866-892-4080

Q: How much do the leads cost?
A: Our prices are based on the low minimum bid requirements we set, and on the bidding of our AgentInsider® members.

Q: What is MAX Bid?
A: MAX Bid is our automatic bidding system. It ensures that you pay the lowest possible price for your leads, and makes managing your bids effortless. After you select and activate your Lead Program ZIP Codes, all you have to do is enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay for leads for each ZIP Code. The system will bid on your behalf up to the designated dollar amount.

Q: How does the automatic bidding system (known as MAX Bid) work?
A: Our automatic bidding system makes managing your Lead Program bids effortless. You simply enter the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for leads for each ZIP Code. After a lead has been generated, the system will begin bidding on your behalf. When your bid is higher than other agents, you will pay only $0.50 more than the next highest bid. For example, if your bid is $15 and another agent is bidding $10, you will pay only $10.50 for the lead. You will never pay more than your MAX Bid, and in many cases, you will pay less. As a matter of fact, depending on competition for the lead, you could pay the state minimum price regardless of your MAX Bid amount.

Q: How do I pay for leads?
A: It’s easy! You provide your credit card information when you register. Your credit card will not be charged until your first lead is sent. We collect a $100 deposit when the first lead is sent, and deduct the cost of additional leads from this deposit until it is nearly exhausted. When your balance runs low or runs out, your credit card will be charged again for the same deposit amount, and the process begins again. We will notify you by email each time we charge your card. Agents purchasing large volumes of leads can increase the deposit amount to avoid an excessive number of charges showing up on your monthly credit card statement.

Q: How many insurance agents will receive the same lead as me?
A: We will provide leads to up to 8 sources, meaning no more than 7 other sources will receive the same lead as you. Leads will never be distributed to multiple captive agents within the same affiliate company.

Q: What email address should I use for my lead delivery?
A: Each account can have a total of 5 lead notification email addresses to assist you in managing your account. Some agents have the leads delivered to a work email address and a home address (as a backup). You might also consider including co-workers or an office assistant.

Q: What is a Carrier Code?
A: A Carrier Code may be listed on an advertisement or other promotional material. It helps us identify if you are part of a corporate program. If you have a Carrier Code, please enter it on the first page of registration.

Q: What is a Promotion Code or Referral Number?
A: A Promotion Code may be located on an advertisement or other promotional materials. It helps us identify if you are part of a special program or are eligible to receive special offers. A Referral Number would have been provided to you by another agent who is already a part of the Lead Program. If you have either a Promotion Code or Referral Number, please enter during registration.

Q: Why do you need to know my carrier when I register?
A: We need to know your carrier to ensure we provide our consumers with the greatest choice without duplicating agent efforts. Leads will never be distributed to multiple captive agents with the same affiliate company.

Q: Do I need to select all of the states and lead types (auto, home, or term life) I'm interested in now?
A: We suggest you select each state and all lead types you want when you register. When you select a state or product, it does not obligate you to purchase leads-- it simply tells us what you're interested in. After you are a registered member of the Lead Program, you may return at any time to change your information.

Q: Why do you need my license information when I register?
A: It's important that we only distribute consumer leads to licensed agents. To ensure that consumers receive only expert advice, we will check all licenses before allowing agents to participate in the program.

Q: What happens to the $100 deposit fee?
A: The $100 deposit will be charged to you once your first lead is sent. Each time you receive a lead, we will deduct the cost of the lead from your deposit. When the deposit is nearly exhausted, your credit card will be charged again for the same deposit amount, and the process begins again. We will notify you by email each time we charge your card. Agents purchasing a large volume of leads can increase the deposit amount to avoid an excessive number of charges showing up on your monthly credit card statement.

Q: How long before I receive my first lead?
A: After you complete registration, your account will be reviewed and approved by our Client Services Team. An account is typically approved within 1-3 business days. During that time, you can gain access to your account and begin choosing the ZIP Codes you want to target, setting the maximum amount you want to pay for your leads, and setting your lead volume preferences. Once your account is approved, you are ready to begin receiving leads.

Q: How long do I have to dispute a bad lead and what are the criteria for receiving a credit?
A: An agent has 10 calendar days to dispute a lead. A credit will be given only for duplicate leads or leads with invalid contact information (i.e. invalid phone number). You may request a lead credit yourself using the Credit feature of your account, found on the “View Leads” tab.

Q: How can I find additional leads or ZIP Code opportunities?
A: To receive information on available ZIP Codes and lead opportunities, contact our Client Services Team. Our representatives have access to the quantity of leads unsold in each ZIP Code, current bidding information, and agent participation by ZIP Code.

Q: What needs to be done to close my account?
A: To close your account, please email us at clientservices@agentinsider.com or call us at 1-866-892-4080 Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm PT.

Q: Who do I contact if I have questions about registration or my account?
