In our continuing effort to help our participating agents fully utilize the benefits of the AgentInsider^® Lead Program, we will be adding an exciting new feature to your account on August 8, 2008 called “MAX Bid.” This newest enhancement was created to help agents stretch their online marketing budget even farther.

MAX Bid is the new automatic bidding system created by AgentInsider^®. MAX Bid ensures that you pay the lowest possible price for your auto, home, and term life leads and makes the management of your bids effortless. After you select and activate your Lead Program ZIP Codes, all you have to do is enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay for leads for each ZIP Code. The system will then bid on your behalf up to the amount you have designated.

After a lead has been generated, the MAX Bid system will begin automatically bidding on your behalf in increments of fifty ($0.50) cents. For example, if you set your maximum bid at $13 and the next highest bidding agent set a maximum bid of $11, the MAX Bid system will automatically increase your bid to $11.50 to ensure that you receive the lead. You will never pay more than your maximum bid, and in many cases, you will pay less. As a matter of fact, depending on competition for the lead, you could pay the state minimum price regardless of your maximum bid amount.

How does MAX Bid help Agents?

Once you decide the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for a lead, you should set-up your MAX Bid amounts for each lead category. Because you have pre-determined the maximum amount you want to spend, there is no need for you to manage your bids. You will have the confidence in knowing that AgentInsider^® will ensure that you pay the lowest possible price for every lead you receive.

On August 8th, your AgentInsider^® account will be automatically updated with the MAX Bid feature. The bid amounts that you currently have selected for your ZIP Codes will be now be your maximum bid amounts. If you wish to edit or review your current maximum bids, login to your account and click on the “Lead Program” tab. Once you are on the “Buy Leads” page, click on the “Edit” button next to the “Lead Categories.” You will be able to review the current maximum bids set by other agents from your same carrier affiliation and can decide if you want to make adjustments to your maximum bids to ensure that you receive leads.
